This series of hand-painted ceramic wall pieces draws inspiration from the forms and colors found in the garden and kitchen. Pears, lemons, carrots, iris, and olives are rendered in loose watercolor-like brushwork, allowing each subject to retain a sense of immediacy and observation rather than strict representation.
Painted onto hand-thrown 10-inch convex ceramic domes, the curved surface gently alters the image, creating a subtle shift between painting and object. Part botanical study, part still life, these works celebrate the quiet beauty of everyday forms and the fleeting moments spent noticing them.
