LIBECO found its beginnings in 1858 within the region of Flanders, Belgium, where farmers would weave linen to get by during the harsh winter months.
With the dawn of the industrial revolution LIBECO found opportunity, purchasing a weaving mill and beginning widespread production. This mill is still used today more than 150 years later.
All LIBECO linen is woven in Belgium. Their products are made with great care and with respect for the environment. Over the last few years, LIBECO has made significant steps in becoming a CO2 neutral company and by launching a 100% organic linen collection.
