Aron Fischer, the creative artist behind Facture Goods, combines materials in interesting and unexpected ways to highlight form and function.
The artist works with hardwoods, clay and metals to create small batch kitchenwares, utensils and provisions with a “primitive modern” aesthetic. By creating work that is somewhat rough, even crude, he is able to be as prolific as needed for each project.
Aron's work has been featured in such publications as VOGUE, THE NEW YORK TIMES, FOOD & WINE, and CONDE NAST TRAVELER.
His work graces many esteemed and highly regarded restaurants across the nation, including local gem The Graceful Ordinary.
The Facture Goods studio is located on occupied land. All work is created in Hampshire, Illinois which is the territory of the Peoria, the Potawatomi, the Kickapoo, the Očhéthi šakówiŋand the Miami peoples.
