Pottery Wine Stopper Workshop by Aron Fischer
Add a personal touch to your table or gift-giving with this creative workshop focused on sculpting decorative wine stoppers from clay. Participants will learn simple hand-building and sculpting techniques to form unique designs — from organic shapes and textures to playful, figurative forms. You’ll explore how to work with scale, surface detail, and color to create pieces that are both functional and expressive.
Guided instruction will cover shaping, attaching, and finishing techniques, as well as options for underglaze decoration. Once fired, each stopper will be fitted with a stainless-steel base, resulting in a durable, food-safe piece ready for use or display. All materials and tools are provided, and no prior clay experience is required. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore small-scale sculpting while making a set of distinctive, handmade objects for everyday use.
