Hot Pepper Jelly
The ingredient list is simple: just peppers, sugar, vinegar and pectin -- but the taste is anything but plain. Is it possibly the Alabama sun that takes this Southern staple to the next level, imparting preserved farm flavor in every jar?
Brandied Plum and Pecan Compote
Rich, ripe southern plums, paired with sweet brandy and pecans make for a very grown up preserve that serves up perfectly with your holiday boards. It’s rich and flavorful and really rather sophisticated.
Pumpkin Preserves
Along side a dose of lemon and orange juice for balance, the slightly floral flavor of the vanilla bean softened the vegetal flavor of pumpkin and transformed it back into a fruit, which technically pumpkin is.
Persimmon Preserves
Once autumn’s first persimmons ripen, we get to work preserving them with sugar, lemon, cinnamon and cardamom. These flavors are the perfect pairing to pork chops and anything with savory rosemary.
Seasonal Onion Jam
Sweet and smoky, this mouthwatering spread is made with caramelized onions, roasted red bell and jalapeño peppers, roasted garlic, and cayenne pepper. It's mild-to-medium heat is perfect for adding a flavorful kick to biscuits, warm rolls, a slice of toast, and breakfast sandwiches.
