Tienda Puro Campo salsa is stone ground with volcanic hand-carved stones from Mexico in small batches. Not only do they support local farmers, but they hand toast the dried chiles and locally grown produce from small farms in Sonoma County, California. Salsa with these chiles can be found all across Mexico. While the ingredients stay consistent, each one is as unique as the person that makes it. These are the flavors of Mexico.
SALSA DE CORAZÓN (mild)
Our lowest spice salsa made with hand toasted chile guajillo. This is a sweeter chile with mild heat, used often because of its flavor rather than spice.

SALSA CHILE MORITA (medium, smoky)
Fully ripened, smoked jalapeños give this salsa morita a unique medium hot, smoky flavor. This is my everyday salsa.

SALSA CHILE DE ÁRBOL (hot)
This is the original Salsita and the beginning of our salsa journey. Toasted chile de árbol and sweet summer tomatoes make a perfectly balanced salsa with a quick, high heat.
This recipe was given to our founder by her Tia Nella in Guadalajara where she learned to make salsa in a molcajete.
